i read this ^ quote somewhere and i think it's so relatable, especially for a Monday.
this past year so far, has been the longest stretch that i think i've ever taken off from running - something i love because it genuinely makes me happy. and i think if you too have taken the season (or seasons) off, and not just from running, the best way to make exercise a habit is to start with what makes you have fun and happy and comes with ease to you. this way, even when you are running low on determination it won't feel "impossible".
does that make sense?
because that's when i just find myself so much more able to lace up my sneakers and look forward to my time getting outside in my headspace, even if just for 30 minutes.
